Description

As a Bid Manager at Foster + Partners, you will play a key role in helping win exciting new projects across the globe. Working closely with partners, architects, engineers, and the wider communications team, you will lead the development of compelling bids, proposals, and presentations that showcase the practice's world-class portfolio. This is an opportunity to combine strategic thinking, persuasive writing, and stakeholder management in a fast-paced, creative environment.

This role is ideal if you want to:

  • Lead high-profile bids and proposals that help secure landmark projects.
  • Shape winning strategies and develop compelling submission narratives.
  • Collaborate with senior architects, engineers, project managers, and partners across the practice.
  • Prepare and print accurate and high-quality bid documents using Adobe InDesign, Templates, or MS Word, in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, and project teams to deliver compelling OJEU responses, RFPs, RFQs, and tenders.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Experience in a bid management role within a design, architectural, or professional services environment.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, compelling, and persuasive content.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the confidence to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, proficiency in Adobe InDesign, and a commitment to producing consistently high-quality bid materials.
  • Ability to analyse complex information from diverse sources and develop clear, coherent, and persuasive arguments.
  • An interest in architecture, design, and the built environment; fluency in one or more foreign languages would be an advantage.
