Who We Are

Curtins are an established consulting engineering consultancy with 13 offices across the UK and Ireland. We take pride in the positive impact we make on the world around us and have delivered practical and innovative solutions for over 60 years, building a better future for everyone.

The Role

We are looking for a Bid Manager, or experienced Bid Coordinator ready for the next step, to join our team in the North West. Ideally based in Manchester, this role will primarily support our Northern Business Units and play a key role in producing winning bids - shaping clear, compelling and competitive submissions in collaboration with our technical teams.

While your day-to-day focus will be regional, you will be part of our national bid team – working to shared standards, contributing to best practice and, where required, collaborating on opportunities across other regions to ensure a consistent and high-quality approach to work winning.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coordinating end-to-end bid submissions, developing clear, tailored responses with strong win themes.
  • Managing timelines, inputs and quality assurance to deliver polished, compliant submissions.
  • Maintaining and continuously improving our bid library to ensure content is current, organised and impactful.
  • Producing high quality, bespoke case studies, CVs and capability materials.
  • Using advanced InDesign skills and strong design capability to deliver polished, on-brand documents supported by effective graphics and infographics.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
