An established bid consultancy is looking for a Bid Manager / Bid Writer to join their growing team.

This is a dual role for a real bid all-rounder, someone confident managing the bid process end-to-end, engaging with stakeholders and subject matter experts, while also being hands-on with writing and developing high-quality content.

The role would suit an experienced Bid Writer looking to take the next step into bid management, a Bid Coordinator ready to take greater ownership of the end-to-end process, or an experienced Bid Manager / Bid Writer who enjoys being involved in both the management and delivery of bids. It’s an opportunity to have genuine ownership across the full bid lifecycle, while still being close to the content and strategy rather than simply coordinating the process.

Ideally, you’ll have experience within the construction or infrastructure sectors, with experience working with Tier 1 contractors advantageous.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
