Bid Manager | UK | Major Infrastructure Projects | Work Winning
I'm working with a leading Tier 1 infrastructure contractor that is looking to bring an experienced Bid Manager into its Work Winning team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the heart of the bidding process and wants to play a key role in securing major UK water and infrastructure projects.
You'll take ownership of bids from start to finish, working closely with technical, operational and senior stakeholders to turn client requirements into high-quality, compelling and commercially focused submissions.
The role
- Lead and manage major bids from opportunity through to submission
- Develop compelling, compliant and value-driven proposals
- Work closely with technical and operational teams to develop winning solutions
- Engage with senior stakeholders and influence key decisions
- Coordinate multiple workstreams, contributors and deadlines
- Help shape the wider Work Winning strategy and approach
- Play a key role in securing major infrastructure projects across the UK

What they're looking for
- Previous Bid Management / Work Winning experience within a Tier 1 contractor
- Strong construction and civil engineering knowledge
- Water sector experience would be highly advantageous
- Experience managing complex, high-value bids
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident working with senior stakeholders
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines
- AMPM accreditation at Foundation, Practitioner or Professional level - or a willingness to work towards it
You don't need to tick every single box. If you have strong construction/civil engineering experience and a background in bidding, technical or operational roles, it's worth having a conversation.
