About the role
We’re looking for a Bid Support Coordinator to join our team and support Aspire’s strategic engagement function. You will work across multiple technology bids and tenders in the public and private sector. You will support the Strategic Engagement Lead to ensure that the end-to-end processes for bids and tenders operate efficiently and opportunities to win new business are maximised.
Our ideal candidate will have strong organisational, management and analytical skills, with good attention to detail and the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks to successfully support IT bid management processes.
Within the role, you will be required to support the timely review of new tendered opportunities in response to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotes (RFQs), and other competitive procurement opportunities.
You will also collaborate closely with teams across Aspire, including Sales, Marketing, Technical, and Commercial/Finance, to curate bid support materials and maintain our bid library and common data set of tender information.

What you will be doing:
- Bid process management including:
- Identification & Triage of new opportunities,
- Supporting the presentation of new opportunities to Sign On / Sign Off,
- Maintaining Bids & Tenders Tracker, Portals & Frameworks Registers,
- Completing Supplier Questionnaire information for tenders.
- Identifying collateral from the Bid Library for responses.
- Collating lessons learned from successful/unsuccessful bids.
- Curating exemplar reusable content for the Bid Library.
You will suit the role if you have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Good, demonstrable experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Familiarity with IT managed services products/services is beneficial.

Salary
Starting salary, £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location and Working Arrangements
You will be based at Aspire’s Gateshead Head Office, with travel as required.
Hours of Work
Full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday.
