About Zenith

At Zenith, we've been helping organisations move further, smarter and more sustainably for over 30 years. As the UK's leading independent leasing and fleet management provider, we're proud of our people, our award-winning service and our ambition to be the UK's most customer-focused fleet partner.

About the Role

We're looking for a Bid Writer to join our Corporate team, helping shape the proposals that win and retain some of our most important customer relationships.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, commercially significant bids that directly support Zenith's continued growth. You'll help shape proposals for some of the UK's largest and most recognisable organisations, delivering tailored fleet management, vehicle funding and mobility solutions where requirements are rarely off the shelf. Our bids often involve long-term contracts, detailed pricing models, implementation plans and multi-service propositions, requiring collaboration across multiple specialist teams to create tailored responses for each customer.

For someone who enjoys combining strong writing skills with commercial thinking, stakeholder engagement and project coordination, this role offers genuine variety, autonomy and impact.

What's the Role

You'll take ownership of bids and tender submissions from qualification through to final submission, ensuring every response is tailored, accurate and aligned to customer requirements.

  • Working closely with colleagues across Sales, Customer Relationship Management, Consultancy, Implementation and Operations, you'll bring together information from multiple stakeholders to create compelling proposals that clearly communicate Zenith's capabilities and value.
  • This role goes beyond writing responses. You'll manage bids as individual projects, coordinating input, facilitating discussions and maintaining momentum to ensure submissions are delivered to a consistently high standard.
  • You'll also help develop our Bid Library, case studies and supporting content, ensuring Zenith presents a consistent, professional and customer-focused proposition across every opportunity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What Can You Bring

You'll be a Bid Writer with experience writing and managing bids, tenders or proposals. Experience within leasing, fleet management or vehicle rental would be advantageous, although we'd also welcome applications from candidates who have worked on complex bids within asset finance, banking, construction, equipment hire, outsourcing, professional services or other consultative B2B environments. You'll have:

  • Experience delivering complex, bespoke bid submissions rather than high-volume, highly standardised tender responses.
  • Experience working on opportunities where commercial, operational, financial or multi-year contractual arrangements form part of the solution.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to translate technical or commercial information into clear, customer-focused responses.
  • Experience coordinating contributions from multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality submissions.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Commercial awareness and curiosity about how solutions are structured, funded and delivered.
  • APMP or other bid management qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential.

What's In It For You

  • Salary from £35000 per annum
  • Annual bonus
  • Pension - 6.25% employer contribution
