Bid Writer
Location: London
Compensation: Competitive Salary Plus Commission Based Bonus

Here at WSH, we have an exciting opportunity for a creative and motivated Bid Writer. As the Bid Writer, you will be responsible for managing the tender process for all new business, specifically responding to requests for information, creating and writing tender bids and proposals, and preparing presentations.
We have a proven track record of developing and nurturing successful business development professionals who started their career as bid writers, now leaders in their field still enjoying their career and successfully winning fabulous contracts across our business.

Job Description
More about the role:
- Create, write, and design high-quality bid proposals that align with client requirements and company standards.
- Develop persuasive and informative content for bids, including, where applicable, executive summaries, case studies, and tailored responses to proposals, tenders, and PPQ’s/SQ’s.
- Utilise design software to produce visually appealing and professional proposal documents, incorporating graphics, charts, maps, and images.
- Aid in the presentation process using PowerPoint and creating printed collateral.
- Working closely with the sales, design, and marketing department, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure proposal accuracy and coherence.
- Offering wider support when required to the sales, design, and marketing teams.
- Review and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to consultant/client specifications.
- Manage multiple bid projects simultaneously, ensuring timely submission and compliance with all deadlines and requirements.
- Seek feedback on submitted bids and continuously refine and improve proposal strategies and processes.
- Create templates to ensure consistency across all bids. Research and implement software that will streamline the bid writing/design process. Completing a tender matrix and documenting where to find content for future use.

Qualifications
Who you are:
- Excellent research, writing, and checking skills, with close attention to detail.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of using AI is advantageous.
- Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with trends and best practices in bid writing and design.
- Concern for quality and privacy of information.
