MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Bid Writer for our client, an established construction and civil engineering business delivering residential, commercial, educational and infrastructure projects across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Work Winning team, taking ownership of PQQ and tender submissions and developing high-quality content to help secure new projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop win strategies and answer plans
  • Lead PQQ and tender submissions from start to finish
  • Write and review high-quality tender, technical and methodology content
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants
  • Prepare materials for client presentations and tender interviews
  • Develop project case studies through site visits
  • Support continuous improvement across the Work Winning function

About You

  • Experience preparing PQQs and tenders within construction or civil engineering
  • Ideally 5+ years' experience, although candidates with slightly less experience will be considered
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint
