About The Role

Due to growth, we are seeking a Bid Writer to join our team. The role will involve the full bid qualitative element of the bid process, including initial opportunity identification, content creation, portal management, bid administration, proposal development, and submission. It will comprise extensive reading, bid writing, research, use of AI, administration, and new content creation, including graphics. Every bid will be compliant, offer the correct client solution, and be submitted on time.

It will involve working closely with the Business Development, Operational, QHSE, Procurement, and wider teams.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to work from their own initiative, and have a proven history in bid writing, with a minimum of 3 years' experience. Ideally, cleaning, security, and FM bids from both the public and private sectors. This role was previously advertised in April and is being re-advertised as the successful candidate was unable to take up the position. Applicants who applied previously do not need to reapply, as their application remains on file and will be considered.

This will be a key role in Grosvenor's FM business development in the UK and Ireland.

Personal Specification

  • Minimum 3 years Bid Writing experience
  • UK Government bidding experience
  • Named UK, and preferably Irish, portal and framework experience
  • Highly organized, flexible, focused, and with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Complete fluency in English
  • Able to use color and creativity to create eye-catching graphics
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and formatting skills with sharp attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable with a fast-paced deadline-driven work
  • Able to work well in a team
  • Knowledge Bank Maintenance experience
  • To be able to regularly read large volumes of written material
  • Excellent Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
  • Maintaining an awareness of trends and best practice solutions within the industry
  • Ensure all drafts produced are aligned with client requirements for formatting and language

Desirable Skills

  • APMP CF qualified or above
  • Experience with Autogen AI or similar bid writing tools, Canva, Knowledge Banks, and Case Study creation
