About Valence

Valence Ltd provides specialist bid management, proposal development, and business growth support services to organisations across the public and private sectors. We work closely with our clients to develop high-quality, winning tender submissions, strategic proposals, framework applications, and supporting content that helps them secure new business opportunities.

This is a client-facing consultancy role requiring excellent communication skills, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to quickly understand different businesses, industries, and service offerings. You will be responsible for managing and writing bid responses, supporting bid strategies, and helping clients improve the quality and success rate of their submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review tender documentation and identify compliance requirements, evaluation criteria, and submission deliverables.

  • Develop persuasive, client-focused responses tailored to specific opportunities.
  • Support bid strategy development including win themes, differentiators, and value propositions.
  • Edit, proofread, and improve existing client bid content.
  • Ensure all submissions are professionally presented, compliant, and submitted within deadlines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
