Role: Bid Writer - Facilities Management
Salary: Up to £70k plus package
Job Status: Full Time/ Permanent
Location: Hertfordshire - Hybrid Working

Role Description:
We are working on behalf of an established facilities management provider to recruit an experienced Bid Writer for a confidential opportunity based in Surrey. This is a key appointment within the business and would suit a strong bid professional with experience across hard and soft FM service solutions. Candidates with a technical or hard services background will be particularly well suited to the role. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality, persuasive, and commercially focused tender submissions, working closely with operational, technical, and commercial teams throughout the bid process.

The Role:
Responsibilities will include;
- Writing and developing high-quality bid and tender responses
- Producing compelling submissions for hard and soft FM opportunities
- Translating technical information into clear, persuasive, and client-focused content
- Working closely with operational, commercial, and technical stakeholders
- Reviewing tender documentation and ensuring all responses meet client requirements and evaluation criteria
- Managing multiple submissions and working effectively to tight deadlines
- Maintaining and developing bid libraries, case studies, and supporting content
- Supporting the wider bid process from opportunity identification through to final submission
- Ensuring all bid documentation is accurate, consistent, and professionally presented

- Previous experience within Facilities Management, Building Services, Engineering or Technical Services
- Strong bid writing and tender submission experience
- A good understanding of hard FM services, ideally alongside exposure to soft FM
- Excellent written communication skills
- The ability to understand and communicate technical service solutions
- Strong attention to detail and document management skills
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A background in hard services, engineering or technical FM would be highly advantageous.
