Bid Writer - Construction

Location: Remote / Hybrid
Salary: Up to £70,000 D.O.E. + impressive package

Our client is an established Civil Engineering Contractor delivering projects for public and private sector clients across the UK. With a growing pipeline of tender opportunities, they're looking to add an experienced Bid Writer to their Pre-Construction team.

Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll be responsible for producing clear, compelling and compliant tender submissions, helping to develop win themes, value propositions and high-quality written responses.

Responsibilities:

  • Producing clear, compelling and compliant tender submissions.
  • Helping to develop win themes, value propositions and high-quality written responses.

Requirements:

  • Proven Bid Writing experience, ideally within Construction, Civil Engineering or another technical environment.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • The ability to turn complex and technical information into clear, engaging responses.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Confidence working with operational teams and senior stakeholders to gather the information required for submissions.
  • Experience with APMP/Shipley methodologies, Adobe, Publisher or Visio would be advantageous, but isn't essential.

The role & package:

  • Remote/Hybrid working - with the ability to attend the client's Gloucestershire office approximately once a week desirable.
  • Up to £70,000 D.O.E. + benefits, including company pension and a range of additional employee benefits.
