To assist in the production, coordination, and structured written quality submissions for tenders.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Work with the Bid Manager and wider bid team in the overall production of quality tender submissions.
  • Interpret tender documentation, specifications, and client instructions to identify key submission requirements, evaluation criteria, and scoring methodology.
  • Manage formatting, version control, document layout, and production for final tender submissions.
  • Ensure tender documents adhere to portal requirements, word counts, formats, and submission protocols.
  • Produce clear, compelling, and compliant quality answers in line with tender deadlines.
  • Develop, write, and edit bid content, ensuring consistent tone, messaging, and formatting across all documentation.
  • Liaise with Estimating, Business Development, HSQE, Operations, and Project Delivery teams to obtain bid inputs.
  • Complete PQQ, RFI, Contractor Competence, and On-boarding documentation as required.
  • Maintain and update staff CVs, Project Data Sheets, and Case Studies for tender submissions.
  • Take ownership of the tender information library/bank and ensure content is accurate, updated, and compliant with current standards.
  • Assist in the production and formatting of post-tender presentations.

Person Specification:

Qualifications & Knowledge

  • Degree/HND/HNC in English/Business/Marketing or equivalent is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of PQQ/ITT and competitive tendering processes within the Construction industry.
  • Experience producing technical written content with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud software is desirable.

Experience

  • Proven track record of successful bid writing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating and developing tender submissions, case studies, and CVs.
  • Understanding of public/private procurement and evaluation criteria.

Skills

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong time management and ability to work to fixed deadlines.
  • Confident in liaising with stakeholders and gathering information.
  • High level of document formatting and presentation competency.
