The role:
As a Bid Writer, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality bid responses, proposals, and sales-related content that clearly communicates Peregrine and mthree's value propositions and win themes. You'll ensure full compliance with response requirements and deadlines, working closely with sales, marketing, technical, finance, and service delivery colleagues. This is a highly collaborative role that requires the ability to work under pressure and manage tight timelines. You'll be part of the Peregrine Bid Team, reporting to the Bid Director.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in content planning and storyboard sessions with the bid team and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in structuring bid responses and proposals, and source and adapt existing bid content where appropriate.
- Deliver completed written responses in line with agreed deadlines, escalating issues when necessary.
- Edit and refine draft content from contributors across sales, marketing, technical, finance, and service delivery teams.
- Coach sales teams and subject matter experts in developing original content.
- Support sales and marketing teams with tailored content aligned to sector, client, and persona strategies.
- Build and maintain a network of subject matter experts, and present new content to the bid team for potential reuse.
- Manage and update the Peregrine case study and bid content libraries, liaising with internal stakeholders for content updates.
- Provide bid coordination support when needed, including managing tender portals and clarification questions.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of bid team processes and best practice.

Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a bid team or similar role.
- Strong understanding of commercial tendering processes.
- Creative thinker with strong content production skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Exceptional written English and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Organised and resourceful.
Desirable skills:
- Experience in B2B environments.
- Background in recruitment or IT consulting industries.
