If you want to develop your expertise, contribute to technically challenging projects and be part of a collaborative team, we'd love to hear from you.

The role

We're looking for a talented and motivated Bid Writer to join our growing Preconstruction team and help secure some of the UK's most exciting and complex construction, engineering and infrastructure projects.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping winning submissions, working alongside technical experts, operational leaders and commercial specialists to showcase Kilnbridge's expertise and project delivery capability. If you enjoy creating compelling content, influencing outcomes and being part of a high-performing team, this role offers exposure to major opportunities that help shape the built environment across the UK.

  • Reviewing tender documentation to identify key client requirements, evaluation criteria and submission deliverables.
  • Working closely with operational, engineering, planning, commercial and HSEQ teams to gather information and develop persuasive, client-focused responses.
  • Writing, editing, proofreading and formatting bid content to ensure clarity, consistency, accuracy and a professional standard of presentation.
  • Developing and maintaining case studies, project profiles, capability statements, CVs and bid library content that showcase our experience and expertise.
  • Supporting bid planning activities, win theme development, client research and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conducting quality assurance reviews to ensure submissions are fully compliant and submitted to the highest standard.
  • Producing presentations, interview materials and other client-facing documents that support successful work-winning activities.
  • Supporting the ongoing development of bid libraries, model answers and knowledge databases to strengthen future submissions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
