Bid Writer

Location: United Kingdom

Contract: Part Time (24hrs a week), permanent

Salary: up to £25,340

Do you have previous experience of Bid Writing?

Are you detail-oriented and eager to progress in a fast-paced industry with endless growth potential?

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Write, edit and review high-quality bid responses aligned to client requirements and scoring methodologies
  • Manage and complete PQQs, SQs, and tender submissions using Easy PQQ
  • Analyse tender documentation to identify key themes, risks, and win strategies
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across the business to gather technical input
  • Ensure all submissions are compliant, accurate, and submitted on time
  • Support continuous improvement of bid content, templates, and responses
  • Stay up to date with best practice in bid writing and public sector procurement

What We’re Looking For

You will be an experienced bid professional with:

  • Proven bid writing experience, ideally within regulated, technical, or service-led environments
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, persuasive, and client-focused responses
  • Excellent attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach
  • The ability to interpret questions, scoring criteria, and client requirements accurately
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, comfortable working to multiple deadlines
  • A proactive, self-sufficient mindset, with the confidence to manage your own workload
  • Previous knowledge of the water hygiene industry is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of Easy PQQ is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate.
