Role Description

The Bid Writer will produce clear, compelling, and accurate bid documents and proposals that reflect Tenon FM’s service offering and value proposition. In this full-time, on-site role based in Uxbridge, the Bid Writer will work closely with business development, operations, and subject matter experts to gather information, understand client requirements, and translate technical detail into persuasive content.   • Structuring bid documentation

The Bid Writer will be expected to meet deadlines, manage multiple concurrent bids, and contribute to the overall win strategy for new and retained contracts.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to create concise, persuasive, and accurate bid and proposal content.
  • Experience in bid writing, proposal development, or similar roles within facilities management, professional services, or related industries.
  • Excellent research and analytical abilities to interpret tender documents, technical information, and client requirements.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and document management systems).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate with operations, sales, and technical teams to gather accurate input.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, compliance, and consistency in documentation and formatting.
  • Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Understanding of facilities management services and UK tendering processes is highly advantageous.
