Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Biddable Associate Director to join OMD UK. This is a unique opportunity to lead the biddable media function, shaping strategy and driving innovation to deliver outstanding results for our clients. You will be responsible for the strategic direction, performance, and growth of biddable campaigns, while championing best practices and nurturing a high-performing team. As a senior leader, you will foster strong client and media partner relationships and play a pivotal role in the agency’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set the vision and strategic direction for biddable media across client portfolios, ensuring all activity aligns with broader business and marketing objectives.
  • Oversee the planning, activation, and optimisation of biddable campaigns, ensuring best-in-class execution and delivery against client KPIs.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and executives, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with media owners and technology partners, leveraging these partnerships to drive value and innovation for clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts across OMD UK to deliver integrated, cross-channel solutions that maximise client outcomes.
  • Oversee campaign reporting and analytics, providing senior-level insights and strategic recommendations to clients, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Champion the adoption of emerging technologies, automation, and AI tools to enhance campaign performance, efficiency, and creativity.
  • Represent the biddable team in client meetings and industry events, showcasing OMD UK’s expertise and thought leadership.

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in biddable media planning, buying, and performance analysis across digital platforms, with a deep understanding of the evolving media landscape.
  • Proven track record of leading client accounts, managing large-scale campaigns, and delivering measurable business results.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience developing and inspiring high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver compelling, insight-driven proposals and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in media planning and analytics tools, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Proactive in staying ahead of industry trends, including emerging technologies and AI, and driving their adoption within teams and client work.
  • Outstanding organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
