Organisation Overview
IRARA (International Returns and Reintegration Assistance) is a growing International Organisation on a journey of ambitious growth, supporting important work across Returns & Reintegration, Secure Solutions and Citizen Services. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop in the world of bids, sales and growth, gaining exposure to meaningful public service work while supporting a central team with a healthy pipeline of bidding activity and a clear growth strategy.
Role Overview
As Bids and Growth Coordinator, you will support activity across the Bids and Growth function, including bid delivery, growth operations, marketing and communications, content management, reporting preparation and day-to-day coordination. Working closely with colleagues, you will help keep information organised, support deadlines and actions, and contribute to high-quality outputs, while building practical experience and developing your understanding of the bid and growth lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for bids and proposals under the direction of the assigned Bid Lead, ensuring all activities are completed in accordance with established bid procedures. This includes managing clarification submissions, organising meetings, helping to prepare presentations, collecting standard business information for SQ/PQQ, and effectively handling post-bid client clarifications.
- Support the organisation and maintenance of function workspaces, including SharePoint folders and standard document locations, helping to keep information consistent, accessible and easy to use as directed.
- Maintain a library of standard responses, case studies and other key information for bids and marketing so that these are readily available when requested.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of client bid portals, including timely retrieval of client documents, tender amendments, and clarifications, as well as accurate uploading of submissions and related correspondence.
- Provide practical administrative and coordination support across the function, including assisting with marketing and communications activity, updating CRM and pipeline information as directed, maintaining central bid and content materials, and supporting the preparation of reporting packs and management information.
- Monitor and coordinate the central mailbox, promptly escalating and distributing relevant information as required.
- Assist in the coordination and scheduling of team meetings, support action tracking, and help prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly updates across the Bids and Growth function.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
