Bid & Solutions Manager
Financial Services | Managed Services Provider (MSP)
📍 Location: Hybrid / London or Cardiff

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Bid & Solutions Manager to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in winning and delivering strategic opportunities across the Financial Services sector.
This is a high-impact position combining bid leadership, solution design, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with sales, technical, service delivery, and client teams to develop compelling, commercially viable solutions that address complex customer challenges.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end bid process for new business opportunities within Financial Services.
- Analyse client requirements, RFPs, RFIs, and tenders to develop winning response strategies.
- Collaborate with technical, operational, and commercial teams to design tailored managed service solutions.
- Create compelling proposal content, executive summaries, presentations, and customer documentation.
- Ensure solutions align with regulatory, security, compliance, and operational requirements within the Financial Services sector.
- Facilitate solution workshops with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop pricing models and support commercial negotiations.
- Manage bid governance, review processes, and submission deadlines.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor offerings, and industry best practice.
- Support sales teams throughout the opportunity lifecycle, including client presentations and bid defence sessions.

What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- Proven experience in a Bid Manager, Solutions Consultant, Solutions Architect, Presales, or similar role.
- Experience working within Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management, or related regulated environments.
- Strong background in managed services, outsourcing, or technology-enabled service delivery.
- Demonstrable success in managing and winning complex bids and tenders.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance customer outcomes with business objectives.
- Experience interpreting client requirements and translating them into innovative service solutions.
Desirable
- Knowledge of FCA-regulated environments and Financial Services compliance requirements.
- Experience with digital transformation, cloud services, infrastructure, service management, or operational outsourcing solutions.
- APMP, Prince2, Agile, ITIL, or equivalent professional certifications.
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and C-suite executives.
