Responsibilities
As our Bids & Tenders Manager, you will lead the end-to-end tender process, identifying opportunities, coordinating bid responses, and ensuring submissions are delivered to an exceptional standard.
- Manage the full tender lifecycle from opportunity identification through to submission and post-tender review.
- Produce compelling, high-quality tender and bid responses that clearly communicate our value proposition.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to gather pricing, technical, operational, and commercial information.
- Maintain and develop a library of bid content, case studies, compliance documentation, and templates.
- Ensure all submissions meet client requirements, compliance standards, and deadlines.
- Support bid strategy development, including bid/no-bid decisions and competitive positioning.
- Review commercial proposals, service levels, and delivery models to ensure alignment with operational capabilities.
- Analyse tender outcomes and implement improvements to increase future win rates.
- Develop tools, templates, and processes that enable colleagues to contribute effectively to bids and tenders.

Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience managing bids, tenders, RFPs, ITTs, PQQs, or framework submissions within a B2B environment.
- Proven experience creating successful tender responses and winning new business.
- Outstanding written communication and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience reviewing commercial agreements, service contracts, and pricing models.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience using procurement platforms or tender portals.
- The confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders to obtain accurate information within tight timeframes.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach and a desire to continuously improve bid performance.
