Job Title: Snowflake Data Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Snowflake-focused Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable ELT/ETL pipelines and data models on Snowflake. You will partner with data analysts, platform engineers, and product teams to deliver reliable, cost-efficient, and secure data solutions that power analytics and applications.

Tech Stack

  • SQL, Python, dbt
  • Orchestration: Airflow
  • Cloud: AWS or Azure or GCP
  • Ingestion: Fivetran or Matillion or Informatica

  • CI/CD: Git, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps or GitLab CI
  • Data quality: dbt tests or Great Expectations

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines in Snowflake using best practices for performance, reliability, and cost control.
  • Develop robust data models (dimensional and/or Data Vault) to support analytics and data products.
  • Implement orchestration and scheduling for data workflows, ensuring SLA adherence and recoverability.
  • Optimize Snowflake performance and cost (warehouse sizing, auto-suspend, clustering, micro-partitioning, caching, query profiling).
