Overview
This position is based within a Wellcom Studio onsite at a major client’s Central London office, with responsibility for overseeing and managing projects delivered for the client’s Paris office. You will work closely with the Paris team and key client stakeholders, managing projects and workflows from London while ensuring effective communication, coordination and delivery across both locations.
You will be working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment across both online and offline media. The Account Manager will act as the main point of contact for the client and will be responsible for fostering client relationships at all levels and managing all ongoing creative requirements, whilst exercising overall responsibility for the creative output and client relationship. They will also work closely with the Xcalibre Account Managers and relevant production teams, coordinating costings, timelines and the status of catalogue production to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the required standards.
The main responsibilities will include defining and managing project timelines, budgets and scope of work, overseeing project delivery for the Paris office from London, maintaining strong client relationships, and reporting to and working closely with the account leadership team. Some travel to the client’s Paris office may be required.

Responsibilities:
- The ability to maintain an excellent relationship with the client through constant communication, creative thinking and problem-solving, from brief through to final result analysis.
- Define, plan and manage projects that include digital and print deliverables.
- Be accountable and responsible for the end-to-end process, including photography, image editing, catalogue creation (design and artworking), and catalogue printing.
- Work with the Image Editing, Studio Production and Photography teams, as well as global counterparts, to track and manage resources and anticipate possible issues.
- Create and update project documentation, including project briefing documents, schedules, timing plans and budgets.
- Liaise directly with clients and run pre-sale meetings and debriefs.
- Liaise directly with Xcalibre on print specifications, page counts and additional costs and, most importantly, provide regular status updates on production progress and any impact on the final approved PDF delivery.
- Be proactive in adding value to client briefs by helping to develop and enhance them, suggesting ways they can be brought to life.
- Be proactive in managing the expectations of internal and client teams.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance internal processes, workflows and project standards.
- Be an advocate for new Christie's and Wellcom technology enhancements and applications.
- Deliver projects on time, to specification and within budget.
- Act as the immediate point of escalation for issues and concerns.
- Identify areas of inefficiency and duplication and proactively report and resolve them.
- Ensure effective adherence to agreed SLAs, KPIs, processes, project planning, WIP reporting, QC processes and other relevant procedures.
- Collaborate with NY, Paris and HK counterparts to share knowledge and establish best practices across the globe.

- Ensure a positive relationship is maintained with the Studio, Xcalibre, clients and Photography teams.
Required Experience & Skills:
- At least 4 years’ experience in a production or creative agency.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English, both verbal and written.
- Impeccable attention to detail in your work, processes, presentations and written communication.
- A natural problem solver and innovator who can find a solution or provide an informed response to any client requirement or request.
- Understands processes and their importance.
- Sociable, likeable and willing to be part of a great team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using project management and asset management systems is a plus.
- An interest in art is a bonus.
