Job Overview
A Billing Administrator manages end-to-end billing operations, including generating invoices, uploading invoices to Customer Portals, resolving billing disputes, maintaining accounts receivable records, and ensuring billing accuracy financial software. Maintaining good customer relationships internal and external and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Create high volumes of sales invoices accurately, verifying them against customer purchase orders and job records.
- Portal Uploads: Upload invoices to Customer Portals ensuring payment is received on time.
- Customer interaction: Own relationships with customers and internal departments, resolving queries and discrepancies related to invoices, while escalating issues to line manager.
- Month-End Support: Assist with month-end procedures, including posting intercompany invoices to meet deadlines.
- Reporting: Assist with year-end audits, etc, where required.
- Filing and Record Keeping: Maintain a well-organised filing system for all documentation.

Skills and Qualifications
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy in data input and invoice verification is crucial.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Organisation: Excellent organisational skills to manage a varied workload and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of the finance team.
- Technical Skills: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software packages are preferable.
- Experience: Previous experience in billing teams, data input, and general administration is preferable.
