Job Title: Billing Analyst
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 + Benefits

We're looking for a Billing Analyst to join our collaborative Finance team based in Morley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a finance environment who enjoys working with data, solving problems and building strong relationships across a business.
As a Billing Analyst, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our billing and income accounting processes. You'll manage client billing activities, support month-end reporting, investigate financial variances and work closely with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.
This role offers exposure to a variety of finance processes and provides an excellent platform for someone looking to further develop their analytical and accounting skills within a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do
- Manage the billing process for key customer accounts, ensuring invoices are accurate and delivered on time
- Post journals and support monthly income accounting activities
- Assist with period-end processes, including investigating and resolving income variances
- Prepare supporting documentation and audit evidence for month-end reporting
- Validate volumes, income and average rates, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Maintain billing trackers and client data accurately
- Respond to billing-related queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Build strong working relationships with Client Managers, Finance Business Partners and other departments
- Support the continuous improvement of billing processes and controls
- Provide cover and support for colleagues within the wider Billing team when required
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working within a finance, billing or accounting environment
- Exposure to month-end activities, journal posting and financial reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Intermediate Excel skills, including working with formulas and large datasets
- Experience analysing data and investigating variances
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across the business
- A proactive, team-focused approach with a willingness to learn and develop
- Experience using SharePoint would be advantageous
