A leading international US law firm is looking to recruit a junior Billing Assistant / Coordinator to join its London finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their finance career who is looking to build specialist billing experience within a highly regarded professional services environment.
Previous law firm experience is not essential. The firm is very happy to consider candidates from other sectors who have good general finance knowledge, strong numeracy skills and, most importantly, the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Working closely with the wider Billing and Finance team, the role will include:
- Supporting the monthly billing cycle
- Preparing and amending invoices and proformas
- Maintaining billing information
- Producing reports
- Assisting with WIP
- Uploading invoices through eBilling systems
- Helping to resolve straightforward billing queries
As your experience develops, you will gradually take ownership of a small portfolio of routine billing matters from start to finish.

- Highly organised, numerate, and detail-focused
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines
- Some knowledge of VAT would be useful
- Excel skills
- Previous exposure to finance, accounts, or billing
Advantageous but not essential:
- Experience within a law firm, professional services business, 3E, or electronic billing systems
