Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working with data?
We're looking for a Billing Clerk to join our Finance team, playing a vital role in ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently while helping us deliver an excellent service to our customers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with billing, finance administration, or credit control experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems, and collaborating with colleagues across the business.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Billing Clerk, you'll be responsible for ensuring invoices are produced, validated, and issued in line with contractual requirements and service level agreements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out manual checks on invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer contracts.
- Reviewing invoice reports in Excel and identifying any discrepancies.
- Producing, collating, and distributing invoices via post or email.
- Raising manual invoices and credit notes where required.
- Matching invoices and journals within D365.
- Supporting finance reporting and providing information to internal stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate records across D365 and other business systems.
- Investigating failed submissions and resolving billing-related issues.
- Identifying and resolving payment discrepancies.
- Supporting recharge processes and validating supporting data.
- Ensuring full compliance with data protection and governance requirements.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in candidates who have:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
