Billing Specialist – Central London
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Billing Specialist to join an established and growing professional services firm based in Central London.
Offering hybrid working with two days from home each week, this is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in credit control and billing who is looking to develop their career within a supportive business that genuinely invests in its people.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for a range of billing, credit control and cash management activities, working closely with both internal stakeholders and key clients.
Key responsibilities
- Liaising with key internal stakeholders across the sales teams to obtain accurate billing information and resolve queries
- Building strong relationships with clients, finance teams and wider business stakeholders
- Preparing and issuing client invoices and credit notes
- Processing billing adjustments and resolving invoice discrepancies
- Allocating incoming cash accurately and efficiently
- Reconciling billing records and maintaining accurate financial information
- Proactively managing outstanding invoices and chasing overdue debt
- Supporting the management of aged debt and resolving payment queries
- Providing weekly cash forecasting and reporting

About you
We are looking for someone who is bright, organised and highly detail-oriented, with a collaborative approach and the interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
You will need:
- Previous experience within credit control and billing
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Working knowledge of accounting systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines
- A confident, professional and team-oriented approach
