Job Title: Billing Coordinator
Location: Leeds
Salary: £26,230 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, On-site
Are you looking for a finance role where accuracy, problem-solving, and customer service all come together?
The Role
We're looking for a Billing Coordinator to join our growing Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our billing processes run smoothly across our business, supporting customers and colleagues while contributing to the continued success of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, reviewing, and issuing customer invoices in line with contract terms and billing schedules.
- Validating billing data and ensuring accuracy of charges and supporting documentation.
- Investigating and resolving billing queries and disputes professionally and efficiently.
- Producing billing and receivables reports to support management decisions.
- Supporting accounts receivable activities and wider finance processes.
- Contributing ideas for continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to enhance processes.
- Any other ad-hoc billing-related tasks.
The Candidate
You'll thrive in this role if you're naturally organised, enjoy working with data, and can communicate confidently with both customers and colleagues.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications
- Experience working with customer invoicing and billing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage and resolve billing-related queries and disputes
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working within a finance or accounts environment
- Working with multiple systems and processes.
Qualifications
Working towards either:
- Business Administration (Level 2 or Level 3)
- AAT qualification (Level 2 or Level 3)
Is desirable for this position.
