Credit Controller in Healthcare

As a Credit Controller in the healthcare industry, you'll play a key role in managing and maintaining the company's financial health by ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments. This role is crucial for keeping the accounting and finance department running smoothly.

Description

  • Monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger to ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Resolve payment discrepancies and handle queries related to outstanding balances.
  • Prepare and distribute regular debtor reports to the finance team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve invoicing and collection processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Assist with credit checks and setting up new customer accounts.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Experience in credit control or a similar financial role.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence in negotiating and resolving payment issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
