Billing Manager

The Billing Manager is responsible for delivering Bureau Services to clients, managing their administration, queries, invoice validation, contract transfers and portfolio needs. Working closely with Account Managers and Head of Bureau, you’ll ensure timely query resolution, accurate reporting and smooth client delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for client delivery of Bureau Services such as invoice validation, queries, contract transfers and portfolio management.
  • Liaise with the Team Manager and Account Managers to resolve any client queries quickly.
  • Manage client complaints/queries ensuring that the correct query resolution procedure is being followed.
  • Manage the acceptance process and support successful registration of supplies.
  • Delivering all the clients administration needs.
  • Prepare templated monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as per the agreed workplan.
  • Assist with maintaining documentation - operating procedures & templates, user guides, and troubleshooting manuals.

  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management experience.
  • Excellent administration skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Evidence of strong IT skills, including intermediate to advanced Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Experience of data entry, data validation, and working with databases on a day-to-day basis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and manage complex information.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience within the energy, utilities, procurement, or contract management sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
