Driver Hire Coventry & Tamworth are recruiting on behalf of a valued client in Warwick for a Billing Operations Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-focused individual to join a busy office environment and play a key role in ensuring billing documents are released accurately, on time, and in line with business targets.

Role Overview

The Billing Operations Administrator will support the timely and accurate release of billing documents while helping to ensure billing performance targets are consistently achieved. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to maintain data accuracy, monitor billing performance, and resolve any issues that may impact billing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Billing Document Management

  • Release billing documents, including invoices and credit notes, in line with customer schedules.
  • Ensure all billing documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant before release.
  • Monitor and resolve issues that may prevent successful billing distribution.
  • Maintain accurate records of billing activities and document releases.

Billing Performance Monitoring

  • Run daily and weekly billing reports to monitor timeliness and completion rates.
  • Identify delayed, incomplete, or missed billing activity.
  • Investigate root causes of billing issues and support resolution activities.
  • Assist in achieving departmental billing performance targets.

Data Accuracy & Quality

  • Validate billing information before release to customers.
  • Identify inconsistencies, discrepancies, or data quality issues.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to resolve billing and data-related queries.
  • Ensure billing records remain accurate and up to date.

Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience within a billing, finance, accounts, or administrative role.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills, including filtering, lookups, and data tracking.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.

Desirable

  • Experience using billing, finance, or ERP systems.
  • Understanding of billing cycles and revenue processes.
  • Experience producing operational or performance reports.
