Billing Platform Manager
Steadman Brown are working with a global organisation looking to hire a Billing Platform Manager to take strategic and technical ownership of its enterprise billing capability, sitting within a dedicated Salesforce Centre of Excellence.
This is not a finance billing operations role. We're looking for someone with strong technical experience across enterprise Billing and Quote-to-Cash who can become the technical owner and design authority for the billing platform.
You'll take responsibility for its architecture, governance, operational health and future roadmap, working across Salesforce CRM/CPQ, enterprise Billing, Finance/ERP, Data and associated integrations.
This could suit an existing Platform Manager, or a Billing/Revenue Solution Architect looking to move in-house and take long-term ownership of a platform rather than moving from implementation to implementation.

- Own the billing platform, setting its strategy, roadmap and future direction
- Act as the technical and design authority, setting architecture standards, governance and best practice
- Shape how Salesforce, CPQ, Billing and Finance/ERP work together across the Quote-to-Cash journey
- Own the platform beyond implementation, including releases, upgrades, technical debt, performance and operational health
- Drive the architecture and integrations across CRM, Billing, Finance and Data
- Identify opportunities to automate, simplify and continuously improve the billing ecosystem
- Work across Product, Finance, Data and Technology to turn business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Manage key technology and vendor relationships and help shape the platform's long-term evolution
What we're looking for
- Strong technical experience across enterprise Billing, Revenue or Quote-to-Cash technology
- Experience designing, architecting, implementing or owning complex billing/revenue platforms
- Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash / Order-to-Cash, including CPQ, pricing, orders, billing and downstream Finance
- Strong technical understanding of architecture, integrations, APIs and data flows
- Experience with Salesforce CRM, CPQ and/or Revenue Cloud, or integrating enterprise billing technology with Salesforce
- Experience with platforms such as Zuora, CSG, BillingPlatform, Oracle BRM, Salesforce Billing/Revenue Cloud or similar would be highly relevant
- Experience across areas such as platform governance, releases, upgrades, technical debt and lifecycle management
- The ability and appetite to move beyond project delivery and take long-term technical ownership of a business-critical platform
