Billing Specialist Opportunity at Global US Law Firm in London
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Billing Specialist to join a global US law firm in London in a stunning office base near Chancery Lane.
What’s On Offer:
- Salary: up to £60,000
- Working Hours: 09:00-17:00
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote)

Role Description
Reporting into the London Billing Manager, this fast-paced Billing Specialist role will assist with the preparation and management of client billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client guidelines and internal policies.

Billing Specialist – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform all required pre-bill edits, including narrative edits, time/cost adjustments, and write-offs (in accordance with firm’s policies and procedures)
- Generate, print, and distribute pre-bills to assigned partners each month
- Follow up with partners to ensure pre-bills are returned by the deadline
- Ensure bills meet the agreed client guidelines, generate final invoices, and email to clients
- Respond to emails, both billing-related and other routine inquiries in the London Billing inbox
- Work within the team structure and have direct communication with Partners, Associates, and PA’s
- Generate WIP and other billing reports when required

Billing Specialist – What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of current billing experience within a city-based law firm
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel
- Elite 3E experience preferable
