Billing Specialist
As a Billing Specialist in the professional services industry, you'll handle the day-to-day billing operations, ensuring smooth and accurate financial processes. Based in London, this role is key to supporting the accounting and finance department by managing client billing and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Description
- Prepare and issue accurate client invoices in a timely manner.
- Review and reconcile billing discrepancies or disputes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure billing data is accurate and complete.
- Maintain and update client billing records and information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Provide support to the finance team on ad hoc projects and reporting needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing queries and payment follow-ups.

Profile
A successful Billing Specialist should have:
- Experience in billing or a related finance role, ideally within professional services.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and software.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
- An understanding of accounting principles and practices.
