My client are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Billings Coordinator to join a large billing team in central London. This role supports both the credit control function and the wider finance functions of the business by ensuring invoices are prepared accurately, financial records are maintained efficiently, and billing processes run smoothly. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating billing activities while providing reliable administrative support to help maintain effective day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, process, and issue invoices using the company’s billing systems.
- Coordinate billing activities to ensure invoices are accurate and issued within required timeframes.
- Respond to billing enquiries, investigate discrepancies, and provide clear and timely resolutions.
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative records, including filing, data entry, and updating spreadsheets or billing platforms.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure billing information is complete and accurate.
- Provide general administrative support, including answering telephone calls and managing shared email inboxes.
- Support wider administrative and month-end finance activities, such as assisting with reconciliations within the accounting system when required.

The successful candidate will have experience using billing or accounting systems, strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail, and the ability to accurately manage high volumes of data. They will be highly organised, able to prioritise tasks and meet billing deadlines, possess strong problem-solving abilities to resolve discrepancies, communicate clearly and confidently, and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications.
