CAD Manager/ BIM Coordination
Searching for CAD Managers/ BIM Coordinators based in London/ Kent — we’re currently working with a main contractor with an in-house design team involved in utilities, earthworks and diversion work across Lower Thames Crossing offering a long-term contract until 2032. Our client is looking for skilled coordinators with the ability to drive procedures & standards. You will also have involvement in design with suitable applicants having Autodesk experience in either Revit or Civil 3D.
- Competitive hourly rates (rate variation depending on experience).
- Hybrid working arrangement – 3 times per week in Dartford

Requirements:
- Must be proficient with Autodesk software – either Revit or Civil 3D. ProjectWise experience desirable.
- Exposure to transportation projects such as highways, etc.
- Solid understanding of BIM standards, regulations and processes, with a focus on clash detection, version control, and model verification.
- Effective communicator, with the ability to run a team of experienced modellers.
- High attention to detail, with strong organizational skills, and an ability to manage time, and prioritize workload, effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee BIM design models and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams ensuring the designs meet the project requirements.
- Conduct clash detection tests to find complications, and problems, and ensure that the models follow project specifications and the BIM Execution Plan.
- Make sure that models are concise and that documentation is organized efficiently in the Common Data Environment.
- Run regular quality checks to ensure that the design models comply with client and project requirements.
- Organize coordination meetings to discuss and find solutions for any design and/or model issues and challenges.
