A multidisciplinary consultancy is looking for an ambitious BIM Coordinator to join its growing digital team in Central London, with the opportunity to move beyond traditional project-side BIM coordination and into a much more strategic, client-facing role. You will be advising major architects, contractors and clients on how BIM and information management should work across complex projects and multi-project programmes, identifying risks, developing protocols and helping teams establish the right processes from the outset. With a six-person BIM team continuing to grow and several major projects on the horizon, this is an opportunity to take real ownership of your position, broaden your experience beyond delivery and develop towards a more senior consultancy role. Job Description
- Advise clients, architects and wider project teams on BIM and information management strategy across complex projects and programmes.
- Develop BIM protocols, processes and delivery strategies that respond to the specific requirements of individual clients and projects.
- Look beyond standard BIM procedures to identify project risks, challenges and opportunities, establishing clear plans of action.
- Support the development of BIM strategies across large-scale campuses and programmes involving multiple concurrent projects.
- Lead and guide external design teams, helping established architectural practices and consultants implement agreed BIM and information management processes.
- Translate technical BIM requirements into clear, practical recommendations that clients and project teams can understand and implement.
- Contribute to project delivery where required, while increasingly developing experience across the consultancy and advisory side of the business.
- Take ownership of workstreams and develop the confidence to challenge existing processes where a better approach can be established.

Key Skills
- Previous experience as a BIM Coordinator or within a comparable BIM/information management position.
- Strong technical understanding of BIM coordination and information management.
- Experience developing or implementing BIM protocols and project processes.
- An understanding of how BIM strategy needs to adapt across different projects, clients and delivery structures.
- Ability to identify BIM-related risks and develop practical solutions and implementation plans.
- Experience working across complex, large-scale or multi-project environments would be beneficial.
- Contractor-side experience would be particularly relevant.
- Comfortable communicating technical information to clients, architects, consultants and wider project stakeholders.
- A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think beyond standard processes rather than simply applying established BIM or ISO procedures.
