Shape the digital delivery of major projects with Tetra Tech
Purpose And Scope Of The Role
Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead the development and implementation of BIM strategy across our projects and teams. You will ensure consistent standards, efficient workflows, and high-quality information management across design, construction and operational phases.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams including architecture, structural and MEP, you will oversee BIM execution plans, maintain the Common Data Environment, and support coordinated project delivery. You will also lead clash detection processes, support software governance, and help drive digital transformation across the business.
Your Impact In This Position
In the short term, you will strengthen BIM compliance and consistency across live projects, improving collaboration and data quality. Over time, you will influence wider digital delivery standards, mentor colleagues, and help shape best practice across the organisation.

Core Capabilities
- BIM standards and governance – Strong understanding of BIM protocols, naming conventions, BEPs and ISO 19650, with the ability to implement and maintain robust standards across teams and projects.
- Digital project coordination – Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary project information, resolving clashes, and ensuring models are accurate, aligned and delivered on time.
- Information and CDE management – Confident administration of Common Data Environments and related information workflows, with knowledge of data structuring and COBie requirements.
- Software and systems expertise – Advanced working knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage or Solibri, and BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud, alongside experience managing licences and updates.
- Leadership and stakeholder engagement – Excellent communication, training and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to support teams, influence delivery and promote best practice.

Skills, Qualifications And Experience
You will have significant experience in BIM coordination or management, ideally gained within a consultancy or design-led environment. A strong technical background in BIM processes, digital construction and information management is essential.
Experience with ISO 19650, clash detection workflows and multidisciplinary coordination is required. A recognised BIM-related qualification or relevant degree is desirable, along with experience supporting large or complex projects.

This role is based within Tetra Tech’s UK operations and may offer hybrid working depending on project and team requirements. Office presence will be expected for collaboration, team coordination and key meetings, with flexibility considered in line with business needs.
