Hiring: Digital Information Manager (BIM)
We’re looking for an experienced Digital Information Manager (BIM) to support a major energy infrastructure programme across Scotland.
Locations: Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness or Perth
Duration: 6 months
Working Pattern: 50% onsite
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the development and management of digital data, information and modelling across a large-scale energy infrastructure framework.
The role will focus on ISO 19650-driven Information Requirements, BIM processes, CDE management and information validation across multiple systems, tools and supply-chain partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) in line with ISO 19650 and industry standards.
- Review tender returns, including BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and supporting digital information.
- Work closely with contractors, suppliers and stakeholders to resolve digital information and technical queries.
- Support the setup and management of Common Data Environment (CDE) project spaces.
- Lead BIM Coordinators in model interrogation, coordination, federation and clash detection.
- Support legal and commercial teams with contracts, PQQs and digital implementation requirements.
- Ensure effective management and validation of project information across multiple systems and platforms.

- Strong experience as a BIM / Information Manager or Lead BIM Coordinator on major infrastructure projects.
- Experience with BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or other CDE platforms.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and UK BIM Framework.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks or similar modelling/coordination tools.
- Experience in energy, linear or vertical infrastructure projects such as substations, converter stations, overhead lines or cables.
- Practical experience in model coordination, federation and clash detection.
- Experience with GIS applications, particularly Esri GIS, would be advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder, contractor and supplier management skills.
