Job Summary
WiiGroup is seeking to hire a number of BIM Professionals to join our growing team in Newcastle upon Tyne, supporting the delivery of a major mission-critical project.
We are currently hiring for the following positions:
- Senior BIM Coordinators x2
- BIM Engineers / BIM Technicians x2
- BIM Scanning Technician x1
The successful candidates will support BIM and digital construction activities throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with project leadership, design consultants, subcontractors, and client representatives. These roles will play a key part in ensuring the effective coordination, management, and delivery of project information and BIM models across a complex construction environment.
This opportunity is ideal for BIM professionals with experience in data centre, pharmaceutical, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale construction projects who are seeking to contribute to high-profile projects within a collaborative and fast-paced team.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Experience in a BIM, Digital Construction, Model Coordination, Engineering, or Surveying role within the construction industry.
- Previous experience in Data Centres or Pharmaceutical projects is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in one or more of the following:
- Autodesk Revit
- Navisworks
- Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- BIM 360
- Recap Pro
- Point Cloud Processing Software
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects such as data centres, industrial facilities, pharmaceutical facilities, infrastructure projects, commercial developments, or mission-critical environments.
- Understanding of BIM standards, model coordination processes, clash detection methodologies, and information management principles.
- Experience coordinating or supporting multidisciplinary design and construction teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external project stakeholders.
- Experience within live construction site environments is highly desirable.
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, BIM, Architecture, Surveying, Digital Construction, or a related discipline.
- Fluency in English is essential.

- Senior BIM Coordinators with experience leading model coordination and BIM delivery across major construction projects.
- BIM Engineers and BIM Technicians with strong Revit and Navisworks experience supporting multidisciplinary construction projects.
- BIM Scanning Technicians with experience undertaking laser scanning, point cloud capture, processing, and model integration.
- Candidates with experience working on data centre, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, industrial, or large commercial developments.
- Professionals with strong Autodesk software expertise and a proven track record of delivering BIM project requirements.
- Individuals comfortable working in a site-based environment and engaging directly with design, engineering, and construction teams.
- Candidates who thrive in fast-paced project environments and can manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Professionals who demonstrate accountability, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary depending on level and position but may include:
- Developing, coordinating, and maintaining BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Performing clash detection and model reviews using Navisworks and other BIM software.
- Supporting the implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project BIM standards.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary design and construction information between stakeholders.
- Managing and maintaining project information within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Common Data Environments (CDEs).
- Producing BIM deliverables, drawings, reports, model audits, and coordination documentation.
- Supporting construction sequencing, logistics planning, and digital construction activities through BIM workflows.
- Undertaking laser scanning, point cloud processing, and as-built model validation where applicable.
- Attending coordination meetings and collaborating with project teams to resolve design and construction issues.
- Ensuring BIM deliverables are issued in accordance with project requirements and programme milestones.
- Promoting BIM best practices and supporting continuous improvement in digital project delivery.
