BIM Manager

Digital delivery has become one of the most critical components of successful engineering projects, particularly within the rapidly expanding data centre sector. As a BIM Manager at Black & White Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our multidisciplinary teams deliver coordinated, high-quality digital models that support efficient design, construction, and operation.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of BIM strategy, standards, and project delivery across complex engineering programmes. You will work closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Structural teams, driving collaboration and championing best practice throughout the project lifecycle. Whether leading model coordination meetings, improving digital workflows, or mentoring BIM professionals, your influence will directly contribute to the successful delivery of some of the industry's most technically demanding projects.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead BIM delivery and model coordination activities across multidisciplinary engineering projects.
  • Establish and maintain BIM execution plans, standards, and project workflows.
  • Facilitate clash detection processes and coordinate issue resolution with design teams.
  • Monitor model quality and compliance with client and project requirements.
  • Support project teams with BIM-related technical guidance and problem-solving.
  • Drive improvements in digital delivery standards and best practice.
  • Mentor BIM professionals and contribute to capability development across the business.

Essential Skills

  • Strong experience delivering BIM solutions within engineering or construction projects.
  • Proven understanding of multidisciplinary model coordination and information management.
  • Experience developing and implementing BIM standards and workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate technical teams.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting digital delivery across complex projects.
