Role Description
This is a full-time, BIM Technician role based in Essex or Remote. The BIM Technician will support project teams by creating, updating, and managing Building Information Models for a variety of construction and building consultancy projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Producing and coordinating construction drawings
- Assisting in the integration of building services and structural elements within BIM models
- Ensuring models comply with project and industry standards
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve design clashes
- Maintaining accurate project documentation
- Contributing to efficient workflows
- Implementing BIM best practices
- Supporting model-based quantity and design reviews
- Providing technical input to improve project delivery

Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools and processes, with experience in model creation, coordination, and maintenance
- Knowledge of Architectural Technology, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and Building Services, with the ability to integrate and coordinate these disciplines within BIM models
- Experience producing and interpreting Construction Drawings, and collaborating with design and site teams for accurate documentation
- Understanding of Structural Engineering principles as they relate to coordinated structural models and multidisciplinary design integration
- Relevant technical qualification or degree in architecture, engineering, construction, or a related field
- Proficiency in industry-standard BIM and CAD software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks or similar) and familiarity with UK BIM standards
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a project-based environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals on-site in Greater London
