Binding Authority Account Executive

Salary - up to £85,000 plus bonus

Location - London/ hybrid

A leading specialist Lloyd’s broker is looking to appoint a Binding Authority Account Executive to join its growing team.

This is a hands-on role managing a portfolio of global binding authorities across multiple lines of business, working closely with brokers, coverholders and the Lloyd’s market.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing approximately 15 binders, with further new facilities being added. The role will include:

  • Managing the full lifecycle of binding authorities, including renewals
  • Drafting and reviewing binders and slips
  • Working across global binding authorities and multiple lines of business
  • Onboarding and managing coverholder relationships
  • Liaising with Lloyd’s managing agents and composite insurers
  • Supporting the wider broking team with the technical and contractual aspects of placements

About You

We are looking for a broker with strong Lloyd’s market experience who can hit the ground running.

You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience within a Lloyd’s/London Market broker
  • Strong slip-writing experience
  • Experience managing global binding authorities
  • Experience onboarding coverholders
  • ATLAS and/or DCOM experience is desirable, but not essential
