As a Biomedical Scientist within our Blood Sciences team, you'll play a vital role in delivering accurate, timely and high-quality diagnostic services that directly impact patient care.
A little about the role
As part of our Blood Sciences team, we work closely together to deliver a responsive and reliable diagnostic service that supports patient care across the hospital. Every day brings a variety of challenges, from processing routine samples to investigating more complex cases, making this a role that is both rewarding and intellectually stimulating.

What you'll be doing
- Undertake routine and specialist laboratory techniques in accordance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform diagnostic testing within Haematology and Blood Transfusion services.
- Review and interpret blood film morphology to support diagnosis and patient management.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 15189:2022 standards and quality management requirements.
