We are looking for suitably qualified Biomedical Scientist
Come to join the team in this busy laboratory, which offers experience in a wide range of histological techniques on a fixed term contract for 24 months.
The role may include routine Histology, dissection, Immunocytochemistry, Electron Microscopy, Neuropathology and Non-Gynaecological Cytology. The department is fully computerised and processes approximately 34,000 surgical specimens per annum.
The successful candidate must fulfill the personal specification requirements
The Cellular Pathology Team work alongside 14 Consultant Histopathologist, Specialist trainees, and a SAS doctor in the Department of Cellular Pathology within a large and established Pathology Directorate providing Neuropathology, Histopathology, Immunohistochemistry, Non Gynaecological Cytology, Electron Microscopy and Autopsy services to Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
