An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist in a busy but friendly Cellular Pathology department.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic and motivated individuals with HCPC registration and Cellular Pathology experience, to join our team and assist in the daily running of this busy department, rotating through all the departmental sections.
The philosophy of the laboratory is to promote best practice and provide a quality service. The department is approved by the IBMS for pre and post registration training and is UKAS accredited. The department is fully equipped with new equipment throughout the laboratory.
The Royal Oldham Hospital Cellular Pathology Department provides comprehensive Histology, Diagnostic Cytology, and Andrology Services to the North East Sector of the Northern Care Alliance and the surrounding Clinical Commissioning Groups.
The custom-built, state-of-the-art Central Service Laboratory at The Royal Oldham Hospital also serves the Trust sites at Fairfield General Hospital, Bury, Rochdale Infirmary, and Salford.
