Reservations Manager – Albert’s Schloss Birmingham
Salary: £30,000–£31,000 per annum + up to 32% bonus
We are looking for a hardworking, talented and experienced individual to join our Sales team at Albert’s Schloss Birmingham, as our new Reservations Manager. If you’re organised, commercially minded and love creating incredible experiences for guests, this could be the role for you!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Reactive Business: Lead the work on reactive incoming business via the website, phone and Outlook, responding to enquiries and converting opportunities into bookings.
- Corporate Business: Support the Sales Manager with larger event enquiries, helping to convert corporate and agency business.
- Phone Calls: Take the lead on managing incoming phone calls, ensuring every guest receives a warm, professional and knowledgeable experience.
- Upsells: Increase spend per head on confirmed bookings by confidently upselling packages, pre-orders, experiences and bolt-ons.
- Event Management: Ensure every booking is organised correctly, considering allocations, pre-orders, run sheet notes and all relevant information to ensure a smooth handover to the Operations team.
- Showcases: Alongside the Sales Manager, support with seasonal corporate showcases and other sales events to showcase everything Albert’s Schloss Birmingham has to offer.
- FAM Trips: Support the wider Sales team with agency and corporate venue FAM trips, helping to showcase our venue and experience.
- Off-Peak Shifts: Collaborate with the wider Albert’s Schloss Birmingham team by working evening and weekend shifts when required.

Who We Need
- Previous experience in a senior sales, reservations or events role is essential, ideally from a hospitality or similar background
- Experience in B2B and corporate/agency account management.
- A genuine love for hospitality and a desire to go above and beyond for our guests and clients.
- Highly organised, commercially minded and computer literate.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Experience using the Collins booking system is desirable.
- An excellent phone manner and confidence speaking with a wide range of clients.
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can keep calm, organised and positive when things get busy.
