As a Process Engineer at JLR, you’ll shape how our vehicles are built by designing and improving manufacturing processes that deliver Modern Luxury. You’ll play a key role in bringing innovative ideas to life, with real impact on quality, sustainability and performance.
What To Expect
- Planning, developing and continuously improving manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency and performance
- Creating and implementing process equipment including tooling, jigs and fixtures that make production smarter and safer
- Applying Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and optimise operations across the production environment
- Analysing process performance, resolving technical challenges and supporting robust quality planning
- Collaborating with engineering, quality and production teams to deliver compliant and capable manufacturing systems

What You’ll Need
Along with a growth mindset and curiosity to explore new ideas, there are several skills that you’ll need to help you succeed here, including:
- Experience within manufacturing or assembly operations with knowledge of engineering processes
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques
- Creating structured action plans and solving technical or process challenges effectively
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders while managing priorities and delivering results
- Engineering qualification or equivalent experience, with project management experience advantageous
