About the Company

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Block Manager to join a major residential construction project in London. The development comprises a combination of high-quality residential accommodation and commercial space, together with basement car parking, resident amenities and landscaped external areas. The project involves the completion of several residential and mixed-use blocks, with works including the completion of retained reinforced concrete frames, building envelope, internal fit-out and final finishing works. The residential element includes a substantial number of private Build-to-Rent (BTR) apartments, comprising a mix of one, two and three-bedroom units, including wheelchair-adaptable apartments. The commercial element will be delivered to shell and core standard.

About the Role

As Block Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management, coordination and progress of your allocated block, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards. You will oversee subcontractors, agency labour and site-based staff, working closely with the wider project team and reporting directly to the Site Manager. A key part of the role will be maintaining high standards of quality throughout the fit-out process, including QA inspections through to white box stage and subsequent snagging, supported by a Finishing Foreman. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring someone who is confident challenging subcontractors and site teams, driving progress and maintaining high standards across the block.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
